These musiciennes will take you through the centuries from France to Québec and New Orleans with lively dance numbers, touching love songs, kickin’ Cajun and Créole tunes, and rollicking Québecois favorites. 

The launch party will feature musicians Collin Cope & Chris Page of The Tenderbellies, plus free samples of Lake View White and Lake View Rosé. The Shelburne Vineyard winemaking team will also be on hand to answer questions and chat about these delicious wines.

In his 60 year professional career, Paul Asbell has played and recorded with Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Howlin’ Wolf, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Paul Butterfield, Magic Sam, Earl Hooker, David Bromberg, Sonny Stitt, Bobby McFerrin, and many others.

Rare and original, their songs are catchy and integrated with humor; their lyrics speak of true-life experiences with a thread of the earliest cultural fabric we call Americana. The Beerworth Sisters are an indie-folk duo from Vermont. Their music is shaped by their personal experiences as mothers, daughters, sisters(in-law), and life itself.  Their music is a mix of indie-folk and country with an earthy flare.

Joshua Glass and Andriana Chobot are two singer-songwriters, pianists, and longtime veterans of the Vermont music scene. Together, they play a blend of indie-pop, rock, neo-soul, and blues—adding a carnival of soulful harmonies and wild improvisation into the mix.

Hard Scrabble is a VT based band comprised of 5 members playing multiple instruments & focusing on tight vocal harmonies. They play a blend of bluegrass & acoustic covers with a few surprises.

A Vermont native, Reid Parsons has been spinning tales of triumph and tragedy through her soul-soaked Americana tunes. Parsons has rooted herself firmly in the blues tradition while exploring her folk singer-songwriter side in recent years. With her finger-picking style and mellifluous alto vocals, Parsons brings raw emotion onto the stage, taking listeners along for the ride every single time.
