Wit & Wine (Comedy Night)

“Dying is easy, comedy is hard.” Come watch these four Vermont comedians with a glass in hand. You can leave your tomatoes at home.

Produced by Vermont Comedy All Stars, and hosted by Gordon Clark.
Vicki Ferentinos is comedian, chef, writer and storyteller. She has been a top three finalist in Vermont’s Funniest comedian competition, and took first in the Vermont Comedy Festival One minute Comedy Battle. Her first one woman show “LadyBug Warrior” earned great reviews at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She's been on Comedy Central, Bravo tv, The Food Network, WOR, and performs throughout New England.

Maggie Maxwell is a Burlington, Vermont–based comic, actor, and a 2025 finalist for Vermont’s Funniest Comedian. She’s a member of the improv/sketch team "Hot Priest," co-host of the long-running live show "Would You Rather with Andre and Maggie," and host/creator of "The Lowdown at Higher Ground." A UCB-trained comedian from the New York City scene, Maggie has appeared on NBC’s "Bring the Funny," in commercials for GEICO and Tops Friendly Markets, and at comedy festivals across the country, including San Francisco Sketchfest, Flyover Comedy Festival, and the New York Comedy Festival.

Kane Thomley, hails from the great state of Alabama, but is now a Burlington, VT-based human comedian. He has performed at the Vermont Comedy Festival and hosted for national headliners such as DulcéSloan, Emily Catalano, and Maddy Smith at Vermont Comedy Club. He likes petting cats on their soft little heads and eating gelato.

Liam Welsh is currently a Brooklyn-based stand-up comic, but he was born and grew up (and cut his comedy teeth) in the fine state of Vermont. Before moving to pursue comedy in New York City, he was a regularly featured performer at the Vermont Comedy Club in Burlington - where he was First Runner Up in the Vermont’s Funniest Comedian Contest of 2019, and has opened for national headliners such as Janelle James, Michael Rapaport, and Jenny Yang to name a few. He has also performed in NYC Sketchfest, and makes videos on Instagram that his mom has called “pretty funny.”

Gordon Clark, the show’s producer and host, is the director of the nonprofit Vermont Comedy All Stars, which creates standup comedy specials throughout Vermont. Starting in 2020, he has produced more than 110 shows, including multi-year stands at the late, iconic Nectar’s in Burlington, the Bent Nails Bistro in Montpelier, Zen Barn in Waterbury and Next Stage Arts in Putney. Gordon also happens to be the oldest independent comedy producer in Vermont, and sometimes he sure feels that way. He lives in Burlington with a wife, cat and dog.

The Cassarino/Grippo Holiday Revue

We invite you to a one of a kind holiday show with Nick Cassarino & Dave "The Truth" Grippo. Come drink award winning Vermont made wine and cider while enjoying a rare meeting of two Vermont music legends who were once student and teacher.

Despite the forecast, the show will go on. We have a plow service ready to take care of our parking lot tonight, but with the added snow we will lose a couple spots. So please do not arrive early as it could cause some issues due to the conditions.

If you have a ticket for the 6pm show, the parking lot and doors open at 5pm. If you have a ticket for the 8:15pm show, the parking lot and doors open at 7:45pm. We will not be able to admit early arrivals.

We will only be serving drinks tonight, no food. Since there will be no tables in the concert area we ask that you do not bring pizzas or dinner to eat at the vineyard. Snacks are ok.

If you have friends who would like to attend, but do not have tickets, please leave them at home as we will not be selling tickets at the door. There are still 7 tickets remaining online for the 8:15pm show at the time of this writing, once they are gone no more will be released.

For drink purchases we ask that you plan to use credit cards and not cash to speed the process up so that we can get everyone seated before the show begins.

It is looking to be a magical night, and we cannot wait for you to experience the music in our beautiful winery setting. We hope that it is a night to remember, and that cherished memories are made.
