Kids Jam is a children’s musical education series with interactive elements.
Interactive musical education, hands-on activities, souvenirs to take home, local vendors, creemees, charcuterie, and plenty of non-alcoholic options for the whole family.
With a deep love for both music and childhood development, Rena and Gary bring an engaging, playful approach to musical education that encourages curiosity, creativity, rhythm, and connection. Also members of the rocking cover band “Half Dead”, they never miss a Sunday show.
We’re kicking things off with a special Father’s Day edition celebrating the music of the Grateful Dead and other classic rock favorites.
More about our educators: Serena “Rena” Zauli - Serena has been working with children & families for almost a decade in the Burlington area. She studied music at Saint Michael’s College & music education at UVM. She currently works as an early childhood educator at Stepping Stones Children Center.
Gary Beck - A longtime musician and educator, Gary currently teaches guitar & ukulele, performs with The Fog & Half Dead, and hosts the weekly Open Mic at Stone Corral. He also drives the Solar Bus, an educational renewable energy project where music and sunlight go hand in hand.
