We are proud to announces the launch of a new line of sustainable wines made in a classic profile and priced to land on retail shelves at less than $20 per bottle. Lake View White and Lake View Rosé will be introduced with a Launch Party at the Shelburne Vineyard Tasting Room on Friday, May 2nd.
These wines are produced from grapes grown by three sustainably managed vineyards in the Finger Lakes that have long-standing partner relationships with Shelburne Vineyard. The juice is fermented, aged and bottled entirely by the team at Shelburne Vineyard, under the care of Ethan Joseph, Head of Wine Operations. They are classic in profile, and provide a delicious local alternative to many West Coast and European wines at similar prices.
“Lake View White has been our most popular wine and we are excited to re-introduce it with a new label design, and to build on its popularity with a brand new rosé release. This demonstrates our commitment to providing affordable, high quality, sustainable wines for Vermont and beyond”, said Joseph.
The Launch Party will feature musicians Collin Cope & Chris Page of The Tenderbellies, plus free samples of Lake View White and Lake View Rosé. The Shelburne Vineyard winemaking team will also be on hand to answer questions and chat about these delicious wines.
Tyler Mackelvey and Ethan Joseph, Shelburne Vineyard's winegrowing team, bottled the winery's new Lake View line of wines on April 17th, 2025.
