Two Strings Attached is the harmonious fusion of singer-songwriter Samantha Mae and multi-instrumentalist Dan Bishop, blending rich storytelling with acoustic textures rooted in folk and country. Performing both heartfelt originals and reimagined covers, the duo crafts a sound that is intimate, grounded, and emotionally resonant.
Samantha Mae recently stepped into the spotlight with the release of her debut album Reverie earlier this year, showcasing her knack for lyrical vulnerability and melodic strength. Her voice—warm, honest, and unmistakably soulful—shines in harmony with Bishop’s seasoned musicianship.
Dan Bishop, who also creates solo work under the name Eustis, is a well-known figure in the Burlington, VT music scene. A prolific bassist, songwriter, performer, and teacher, he brings depth and musical versatility to the project. With years of experience both on stage and in the classroom, Dan’s artistry is rooted in community and collaboration.
Together, Samantha and Dan form Two Strings Attached, a project that highlights their individual strengths while creating something wholly new. Based out of the VT Music Lab, they are crafting a shared sound that is rich in harmony, steeped in emotion, and unmistakably Vermont-grown.
