Originally from Washington, DC, Joe began his hospitality journey after graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Philosophy. His first job in the industry was as an assistant food and beverage manager working for the Marriott corporation in Tyson’s Corner, VA.
In 2003, Joe decided to follow his heart and passions and move to the only place in the world that he really felt at home, Vermont. Once in the beautiful Green Mountain State, Joe continued his hospitality journey as the Banquet Manager for the Sheraton in Burlington where he oversaw events from large weddings to small board meetings, treating each and every gathering with care and respect, like the clients were family.
In the years that followed, Joe decided to focus his energy on Vermont’s music industry, curating and general managing two of Burlington’s premier venues, Parima and Radio Bean. In the years since, Joe has worked as the Marketing and Communications manager for the world music label Cumbancha and for the local restaurant chain, The Mad Taco.
