Sister Speak is the recording alias of Canadian singer, guitarist, and songwriter Sherri Anne Nyberg. With roots spanning Canada’s west coast to Sweden, and now based in Vermont and Montreal, Sister Speak’s sound blends alternative, folk, blues, indie rock, and Cali-roots influences, anchored by Nyberg’s soulful vocals and expressive guitar work.

Sister Speak has released five albums to date, each described by Nyberg as “moments of extreme vulnerability transformed into music.” Known for powerful live performances and lyrics rooted in empathy and human connection, Sister Speak has toured extensively throughout North America and Europe, building a dedicated international fanbase through acoustic performances, full-band shows, songwriting, and recordings.

Her fourth album, Love For All, now available on vinyl, was toured internationally across Germany, France, Canada, and the United States, and features award-winning musicians and engineers on a vibrant yet deeply personal collection of songs. In 2026, Sister Speak tours in support of her first acoustic release, The Coming Home EP.

Sister Speak has supported legendary acts including Don Carlos, Air Supply, and The Doobie Brothers, and has performed at festivals alongside Mary Lambert, The Wailers, and Black Uhuru. Her music has been featured on CBC, BBC, NPR, California Roots Presents playlists, and radio stations worldwide. During her time in California, she was voted “Best Pop” at the San Diego Music Awards and named “Top 10 Rhythm Guitarist” by NBC, alongside partnerships with Taylor Guitars and D’Addario.

Produced by Canadian Juno Award–winners Elisa Pangsaeng and Erik Neilson (City and Colour), The Coming Home EP marks a return to home and heritage, while inviting reflection on the responsibility we share—to each other and the earth.
