Shelburne Vineyard and Lake Champlain Grape Growers Assoc.  are teaming up with local farms to offer a cold-hardy grape seminar, tips from a sommelier, wine tasting and a  five course, gourmet dinner with wine pairings!  Schedule includes:

-12:00 Treat yourself to lunch at the Inn.

-2:00 Seminar by Ken Albert, Founder and Owner of Shelburne Vineyard.  Ken will cover such topics as, growing cold-hardy grapes and making wines in the North Country- America's newest viticulture region.  Balancing sustainable practices, profitability and quality as well as emerging trends.

-4:00 Tips from a sommelier, selecting, storing, pouring and enjoying.

-5:00 Wine tasting -Shelburne Vineyard and other North Country wines.

-7:00 Five-course, gourmet dinner at the Essex Inn, Essex NY.  Featuring perfectly paired local food and wine.

Vine, Wine & Dine (2-9pm) - $100/person Vine & Wine only (seminar through wine sampling) - $35/person Dinner (five course dinner with wine pairings) - $75/person Vine, Wine & Dine plus Saturday night accommodations at the Essex Inn includes: all events and Sunday breakfast - $450/couple
