Artist Biography: Though an artist my entire life, I began to make the shift towards working as a professional painter in the early 1990s. I began my art career as a watercolorist, but in recent years have shifted my focus to working in oil. I belonged to the Northern Vermont Artists’ Association for many years, and through them have received a number of awards, including Best Oil, Best Watercolor, the American PEN Women’s Award, and the Artists’ Choice Award. I have exhibited in numerous galleries and juried shows throughout Vermont, and my work can be seen year round at Frog Hollow in Burlington. Over the past several years, my work has been a process of discovery and evolution. What continually excites me about painting, and the nature of creativity, is that this evolution is a neverending process. New ideas never cease to emerge, and I have learned to place trust in my imagination.

My studio is located in the South End Arts District of Burlington. More of my work can be seen at, and
