Hi,
I was given 2 bottles of your wine as a gift.. As you can see by my address I have a general store in VT. Yours is the first VT wine that I have tasted that I can strongly recommend to my customers and I was wondering how it is distributed and if I can make arrangements to bring it into my store in time for this years foliage season.
We're not a big store. We do have a fairly eclectic wine selection that ranges from "Wild Irish"*grin* to a few nice Barolos and Puligny-Montrachets. I constantly strive to "buy local" and support Vermont producers and would like to add your products to my selection.

Wine Description at a Burlington retailer describing one of our wines:

An amazing effort by Ken Albert of Shelburne Vineyard, this delicious white made from the Cayuga variety has a delicate fruit nose of apples and pear with crispy acidity.  We were absolutely blown away by the wine in a recent tasting.  You don't need to make excuses with this wine just because it's from Vermont we'll gladly put this one up against similarly priced white from California any day.

Hello,
We are two former Vermonters who were just in the state for Fall foliage. While there we purchased your Lakeview White (2002) at the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski.  That wine is one of the best we have ever had!  Am so happy to write and express our appreciation!  Now I wish we had purchased a case of it!  If there is another way to have it mailed, please let us know...

E-mail from a Californian
I was in Burlington on business and stopped on my way to the airport to pick up some fine VT cheeses I had enjoyed at dinner the night before.  While at the store, I met the winemaker from Shelburne Vineyard, who convinced me to try a bottle of  Cayuga White.  I indicated that I had a fine wine collection and when traveling liked to try local efforts, but with vitis vinifera (preferably not hybrids).  What was Cayuga I thought? ...Ordinarily I am purchasing much more expensive wines and on my own I would have passed this up, but given meeting the winemaker and having his recommendation, I thought I would give it a try, especially since it seemed the perfect compliment to the VT cheeses I was bringing back to California with me.  Well, I must tell you, I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wine.  Truthfully much better than expected.  Good fruit on the nose, rich mouth feel, ripe fruit (a bit of a surprise), although not especially complex, but all well balanced with good acidity.  I might have even guessed it an Alsatian wine. Good job!  Thanks for the recommendation.
