Dry White Wines: Cayuga White 2006 - 750ml $12.00 Crisp and fruity with hints of citrus in the nose and the palette. We add small amounts of Riesling and Chardonnay to produce this balanced wine with full mouth feel and a complex finish. It is a fine a ccompaniment to cheese and crackers or to a meal of chicken or fish. GOLD MEDAL May 08 (Int'l Eastern)) ------------------------------------------------------- Semi-Dry White Wines: Lake View White 2006 - 750ml $11.00 Softer than our Cayuga White, with a hint of sweetness, and a mineral finish, Lakeview White contains the Cayuga grape, blended with Louise Swenson (a super hardy Northern Varietal) and small amounts of Chardonnay. The result is a wine perfect for sipping on the porch or before the fire and is the perfect companion to a light dinner or picnic. Release date: Spring 08 - Limited quantities This wonderful grape recently developed by Cornell (a hybrid of the classic Gewurztraminer) produces a delightful, spicy wine that is the perfect complement tospicy Asian dishes. VT grown, from new exciting grape varietals (St Croix and Frontenac) developed in the US to survive and thrive in our climate. Enjoy this a dry, medium-bodied wine with a fruity finish, overtones of oak, and a striking ruby red color. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Dessert Wines These dessert wines, crafted from our Vermont grown grapes are available in limited quantities. Nocturne 2006 - SOLD OUT Late Harvest Vignoles 375ml $16.00 We crafted this delectable dessert wine from organic certified grapes grown on our Breeding Barn Site. We harvest the Vignoles in late October when extreme ripeness causes the grapes to begin to shrivel and concentrate their sweetness and flavor..	Riesling Dry 2006 - 750ml $15.00 This noble varietal grown in our VT soil produces the classic aromatic and complex taste of Riesling and a smooth and lingering finish . A semi-dry wine with a delicate apricot nose and taste.... fruit forward! Its a smoothly balanced offering from this new grape sensation grown in Vermont from grapes originating at the University of Minnesota....so it will bear fruit even after a -25F winter day! GOLD MEDAL FEB 08 (FL STATE FAIR) -------------------------------------------------------- Cote de Champlain - 750 ml, $12.00 Almost dry, with hints of tripical fruit, Sip with a fine VT cheese or pair with poultry or fish. 2 BRONZE MEDALS AWARDED IN '08 ------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Merlot 2006, 750ml - $12 Vidal Blanc Ice Wine 2006 - 187ml - Released Dec 18, 2007. $25.00 We harvested our own Vidal grapes in December 2006 at 15 degrees F° when the grapes were partially frozen and only the sweetest juice still flowed to create this wonderful, complex dessert wine that pairs well with a fruit tart or stands alone as dessert in itself. resulting in a 11% residual sugar, 11% alcohol.
